On January 13, 2016, Research agency opened two calls for phased projects of the university science parks and research centers in the Bratislava and outside the Bratislava region. For outside the Bratislava region, the call allocation is 17.7 million euro and for the Bratislava region, it is 5.9 million euro. In the call, public institutions can be applicants only and the project partners can be state organizations and public institutions. Eligible applicant and its partner is defined as the recipient of the phase project according to the list of phased projects in Annex No.7 of the call. The call is open to the exhaustion of the allocation. Every two months will take place evaluation round and the conclusion of the first evaluation round is on February 15, 2016.
On February 3, 2016, the research agency also announced a call for support for industrial research and development centers in areas of specialization RIS3 SK. The total allocation for these projects is 200 million. EUR. Applicants for the call are businesses that must have at least one academic project partner (SAS Institute, universities, sectoral research organization), or small, respectively medium enterprises. Research activities must be implemented outside the Bratislava region. The minimum contribution amount per project is 1 million EUR, max. is 7 million. EUR. Duration of the project activities must be from 36 to 72 months. The call is open and the closing occurs by absorbing funds allocated for the call. Every two months will take place each evaluation rounds and the conclusion of the first evaluation round is on March 31, 2016.
