The sixth edition of the STARTUP AWARDS knows the winners and the content as well as attendance overcame previous years
This year's Startup Awards, held on Friday 2. December in the bratislava Istropolis, knows the winners. The foreign professional jury in competition chose among the twelve ideas total in the four categories.
In the category of Society is the winner became the company Stemi, which has developed an app for health care professionals - rescuers. Directly when the intervention allows the consultation to the ECG with your cardiologist and improves both the prognosis of the patients.
In the category of Digital was chosen by the jury, the company Agent of Balance, which strives to reduce turnover of call centers employees by introducing into tracking their satisfaction of the new metrics.
Maguss - the game that immersed the player into the world of fantasy again impressed, became a winner in the category of Art&Design.
The winner in the category of Science and also the absolute winner of this year's STARTUP AWARDS became a solution of company MultiplexDX, which promises advanced technologies specified the results of the diagnosis of cancer to allow faster and more effective treatment. The overall winner MultiplexDX won prizes worth more than 50 thousand. EUR, which included a grant from the Slovak-American Foundation in the amount of 35 thousand dollars, cash reward in the amount of 12.5 thousand EUR, and services from partners in the field of internet security, accounting and legal support.
STARTUP AWARDS this year have expanded the concept of the all-day conference, which brought interesting lectures of successful entrepreneurs and professionals from Slovakia and from around the world. The stage of Istropolis thus discovered by celebrities as John Sexton, former dean of New York University, Petra Langerová, the most successful Slovak fashion designer abroad, whether in the world of startups legendary investorka Esther Dyson.
The Program opened Yanki Margalit, an israeli entrepreneur and visionary with his idea about the future, conclusion on the contrary, belonged to the founder of the today well known apps Waze, Uri Levine. President Andrej Kiska came also this year to show the support for the Slovak startups, innovators and entrepreneurs.
The new format of the event expanded on the conference part brought to the Istropolis a record number of participants and almost 2-fold exceeded the STARTUP AWARDS attendance from previous years.
