New support center launched (under the program Horizon 2020) services for ongoing projects of FP7 and H2020 in research and innovation. Supporting services refer to all program areas and want to encourage the application of research results and innovation. Common Exploitation Booster services aim to bridge the gap between research results and their exploitation by helping the project consortia in
- raising awareness on exploitation possibilities and exploitation planning;
- clarifying issues, exploring solutions and actions, anticipating possible conflicts for successful exploitation;
- setting up roadmaps for the long-term sustainability of the project results;
- creating value out of novel knowledge (recognising exploitable results, creating revenues, improving skills, standardization or patenting, finding pathways for future work).
The center helps partners in developing, creating and marketing a product or a process, in creating and providing a new service, in setting new standards, or in setting-up new training courses or developing new curricula. Pilot initiative Exploitation Common Booster provides four types of services for projects and results in different stages of their development:
- analysis of exploitation risks;
- exploitation strategy seminar;
- business plan development;
- brokerage and pitching event.
