New call for applications of the Scientific Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic

The Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of Slovak Republic has announced a call for applications for grants for new projects VEGA (the Scientific Grant Agency of the ministry) starting in 2017. 

Deadline for electronic submissions through an online e-VEGA system is on April 29, 2016.
The rules of VEGA projects:

  • project leader must have finished PhD level and a creative team member must have at least a university degree, level 2;
  • one team member can be leader of one project only and one team member can be involved in 2 VEGA projects only;
  • the maximum number of project solvers in one project may not exceed 20 individuals,
  • the amount of funding must be planned appropriately and reasonably.

European Researchers' Night

The festival of science - European Researchers' Night is an annually organized event throughout Europe. The ERN is the largest of its kind in Slovakia and Europe, bringing together people and researchers in 300 cities in about 25 countries on the last Friday of September. This year´s edition will take place on 29 September 2023 and you can look forward to the 17th anniversary of the science festival in Slovakia.
