The E4E project helps to strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset at universities in Central and Eastern Europe.
The ambition of the project is to link university education with entrepreneurial intentions, thus teaching master's and doctoral students and young scientists that their research does not take place in a vacuum, but on the contrary, can and should have a social, environmental and economic impact. In order for this to happen, it is necessary for students to gain information about possible real-world applications of their research results, to interact with future customers in a timely manner, and to be open to an iterative process.
As part of the project, the ImpactSprint course took place from September 4 to September 8, 2023, at the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT CTU) in Prague: from research to product (in the form of Training for Trainers) on the development of innovative products and services. Students were provided with the experience and skills to approach innovation and research with the future customer and user in their minds.
The project is also aimed at building a regional network of experts and promoting best practices in business education through public discussions.
The project is co-financed by the governments of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through the Visegrad Fund.
