ABOUT THE PROJECT IN NUMBERS
- 700 scientists and researchers from universities, Slovak Academy of Sciences and private scientific companies from all over of Slovakia
- approximately 100 000 visitors
- we reached 600 000 people through a media campaign of the project,
- the project involved whole of Slovakia geographically
- 5 000 elementary and secondary schools

Main concept of the project was based on the very positive experience from the events in 2007,2008,2009 and 2010 and on the fact, that year 2010 became a real breakthrough in the RN activities in Slovakia from the terms of public perception, participation of the researchers.
2011 project tried to cover the whole territory of Slovak Republic. the project consisted of the mix of main venues in big shopping centres and places like Slovak National Museum as well as observatories, which still attract a lot for people.
The programme of activities was built around the following axes:
- Science shows and interactive experiments and demos of science
- Science cafés and interactive workshops/discussions
- Interactive exhibition about the famous Slovak scientists “Masters of the Mind” in the area of Chemistry (because of International Year of Chemistry)
- Three nation-wide competitions serving as strong awareness campaign instruments:
- Small quizzes within the events “motivating people” do attend all of the prepared stands, events, lectures, discussion and win nice prizes for collecting prove of their participation in the individual parts of the event
- Science party on the Friday night"
