The European Commission has formally set-up the Expert Group of 13 high level academic members that will to provide recommendations on the preparation of the Quantum Technology Flagship. Based on cooperation with stakeholders and member States, the group will propose a Strategic Research Agenda. Prof. Vladimír Bužek from Slovakia is a member of the expert group also. He received numerous awards for its scientific results at home and abroad. A first meeting will take place in the second half of September in Brussels. Furthermore, the Commission intends to extend the group with representatives of industry.
