7th Framework Programme
Slovak Organization for Research and Development Activities (SOVVA) coordinated 7th Framework Programme for research, development and demonstration activities in Slovakia on the basis of the contract with the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic.
It also provided technical, organizational and administrative functioning of the national contact points and national delegates of programme committees of 7th Framework Programme. Within the coordination of support structures of 7th Framework Programme SOVVA contributed through various information and support activities to the increasing participation of Slovak research teams in 7th Framework Programme.
The main coordination activities included:
- Conferences, seminars and information days
- Advice for Slovak research organizations to become involved in the preparation of FP7 projects
- Advice how to find partners and become involved in international research consortiums
- Advice for foreign teams how to find project partners in Slovakia
- Specialized activities focused on linking Slovak and European research
- Analysis of involvement of Slovak Republic in FP7
- Preparation of standpoints for the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic
- Preparation of standpoints to Horizon 2020
