Conference and Matchmaking / 21 – 22 January 2014 in Bratislava, Slovak Republic.

The Slovak Organization for Research and Development Activities, the Ministry of Education, Science,Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information were organizing together with BIC Bratislava a launch event for the new EU Programme for Research and Innovations ­Horizon 2020.
The first day of the event was dedicated to the conference Horizon 2020 Connections –  launch of Horizon 2020 in the Slovak Republic with key­note speeches by Mrs.Máire Geoghegan­Quinn, European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science and Minister for Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic – Mr. Dušan Čaplovič.

International partnership meetings for new Framework Programme for Research, Development and Innovation, Matchmaking: Horizon 2020 Connections was held in Bratislava on 22th January 2014 as a side event of the opening Conference Horizon 2020 Connections.
The event presented a unique opportunity to pre-assemble a consortium with partners from industry and academia, and the possibility of meeting with organizations from across Europe and national experts for Horizon 2020.:

European Researchers' Night

The festival of science - European Researchers' Night is an annually organized event throughout Europe. The ERN is the largest of its kind in Slovakia and Europe, bringing together people and researchers in 300 cities in about 25 countries on the last Friday of September. This year´s edition will take place on 29 September 2023 and you can look forward to the 17th anniversary of the science festival in Slovakia.
